Instructions To Build And Assemble Your Ship In A Bottle

(over 100 pictures and narrative)

How to Build Historical Bottled Ships

The instructions in this book pertain to a model being placed in a 1/2-gallon pinch bottle with the opening in the bottle being 11/16". This does not mean you have to actually have this type of bottle. The size of your model is determined by the opening in the bottle, the inside diameter of the bottle and also the length.

This type of hobby can be done by just about everyone. Age has no bearing on who can build these ships. Whether you are 9 or 90, male or female makes no difference.

The Theis family, daughter and grand children, carry on the Lucas endeavor, Ships In A Bottle, and we sincerely hope you enjoy this book.
